Our Trustees serve as pillars of support within the Quantum Centre for Minds and Machines, committed to pushing the boundaries of civic engagement, education, and community development.

  • Percy Venegas

    Principal at Economy Monitor, with affiliations at Campden Wealth and King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence, complemented by doctoral studies in AI & Machine Learning at GWU, alongside graduate studies spanning Cybersecurity and Quantum Computing at Oxford, Finance and Banking at King’s College London, Epistemology, Ethics, and Philosophy of Mind at Edinburgh, Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility at EOI in Spain, an MBA from MIB Trieste, Lingnan-MIT in China, and a BSc in Electronic Engineering.

  • Fernand Gobet

    Prof. Gobet is one of the world's leading scientists in cognitive sciences. He developed the foundations of his theory in collaboration with Economics Nobel Prize Winner Herbert A. Simon. He is a Professorial Research Fellow at the London School of Economics, and he is currently developing works on the intersection of AI/genetic algorithms, such as "How Artificial Intelligence Can Help Us Understand Human Creativity." He is also an expert in the study of expertise and the transfer of expertise between careers and an international chess master.

  • Liz Johnson

    Dr. Johnson is the Managing Editor of the Journal on AI Policy & Complex Systems. She holds doctorates in Education and Public Policy and degrees in Journalism, Ethics and Human Development, among others. She is a lecturer in Computer Science at UNC Charlotte. She is also a Complex Systems Institute UNCC member and the American Education Research Association.

  • Isabel Britez

    MSt candidate for Social Innovation at the University of Cambridge. Researcher in Sustainable Finance at the University of Cambridge. Post-grad in Neurosciences and Behaviour. Member of the Investments and Wealth Institute. Part of the editorial team of the Journal on AI Policy and Complex Systems.
